What we do
The Allotments Association has existed for 100 years in the Eastleigh Area. Where the Association used to be involved in the purchase and letting of land for allotments and smallholdings, our contemporary role is one of stimulating interest and enthusiasm for allotment gardening and providing support and advice to our members on allotment and gardening-related issues.

· We represent the interests of our membership by providing an informed and co-ordinated voice on issues relating to the provision and management of allotment gardens in and around the Eastleigh area. We campaign on allotments issues.

· We provide public liability insurance to our members

· We promote and stimulate interest in allotment gardening;

· We supply our members with seeds and gardening sundries at competitive prices;

· We provide FREE at most sites but not all, the use of Rotavators, Strimmers, Lawn Mowers, Forks, Spades and other tools to get you going.

· We provide advice to our members, prospective plot holders, trading members and other interested parties on allotment related matters.

· We update our members on significant issues affecting allotment gardening.
· We provide a focus of communication and socialising for all those interested in allotment gardening who wish to share ideas, knowledge, experiences and enthusiasm.
· We attend shows to promote allotments.
